What is it about fall that everyone loves so much?

the crisp air | the color of the leaves | pumpkin patches

the state fair | halloween | the fashion

Yes the fashion is probably the most exciting thing about the change in seasons

Our state doesn't exactly allow us to wear sweaters and boots until November, but we will suffer and sweat if it means we get to buy a new cardigan.

Not to mention the flannels, jeans and boots galore!

After hauling a suitcase of summer goods out of my closet, it became apparent to me that my fall wardrobe is seriously lacking.. However after mixing this and matching that, I picked four of my favorite outfits for these first couple months of the beautiful weather we all love and adore.

For The Love Of Rompers

Rompers and jumpsuits have been a huuuuge trend this spring.

Understandably so.. They are kind of the best things ever. It's one piece of clothing and boom you're fully dressed and ready to go.

Ok so it may not be that simple.. But whether you're tall like me or petite like Hayden Panettiere, you CAN achieve success with this look.

The key is third layers.

-cardigans

-chambrays

-chunky necklaces

-vests

Any of these items will add dimension to your romper and create a seemingly effortless spring look.

April Showers Bring May Flowers

We've all heard the phrase "April showers bring May flowers" while growing up.

But let's be honest, living here in Arizona there are pretty much no showers,

and whatever flowers we had are probably in the midst of dying due to excessive heat.

But just because us Arizonians are a little weather confused,

doesn't mean we can't enjoy the connotation that comes along with Spring.

Everything is fresh and new and enthralling.

Flowers are blooming and so are new experiences, relationships, and of course trends in the fashion world.

As cliche as it is, there's something about the start of a season that brings new excitement.

It's finally time to get out of that winter time funk and get outdoors and swim and shop and meet a new boy (or for any of my male followers, a girl) and go to concerts and festivals and just ENJOY yourself.

That's what life is all about anyways, right?

Spring has sprung people, so let go of whatever happened this past winter that has been weighing you down and let in new love and maybe treat yourself to a new wardrobe.. You deserve it.

Twenty.

I went through a lot in my 19th year of life.

Ya know, before I would ask "why is this happening to me?" 

But the truth is, bad things happen to good people and you really can't control that.

And now, moving into my 20's I couldn't be happier that I experienced what I did.

I learned that love isn't always what you think it is, and people aren't always who they say they are.

You will get hurt and you will hurt others, but with every year you grow older, you'll learn more and more about yourself. 

Whether it's the type of person you want to date, the friends you surround yourself with, or the clothes on your back- you have to stay true to yourself or else you'll never be completely happy.

SOO in honor of another year of life and finally having a grasp on my own .. Here's my #birthday outfit!

Spring time is vastly approaching & you know what that means..

Prints, colors, dresses!!

By far my favorite season in the apparel industry.

Maaaan, I'm loungin.

Laying on my couch in my favorite comfies, I start to imagine a world where those old, worn sweatpants aren't such a fashion faux pas.

I mean, really, who says we, as women in our early 20's, must look put together and fashion forward every damn day?

Try your best to picture yourself getting ready on a Saturday night.

Bodycon dress, your favorite Steve Madden pumps, freshly curled hair...

Ahh yes, us girls love to get dolled up..

Yet, we can't deny those nights where getting out of bed sounds like hell.

You cringe at the sight of your flat iron and makeup bag waiting for you in the bathroom.

All you want to do is say "fuck it" and roll up to the party in those Lulu Lemon yoga pants you've had on for the last 8 hours.

Who knows, maybe frumpy bed head will be the next big thing in the fashion world.

...Well a girl can dream, can she not?

Oh. And Drake? We all know you're bullshitting with that line "sweat pants, hair tied, chillin with no makeup on, that's when you the prettiest blah blah BLAH"
